We didn't know if he was physically able to make a roll-over with the size of his stomach :p but today he managed to and then kept going to repeat it three or four times! Earlier I had him down to do some tummy time and he was really trying to roll but couldn't seem to get enough momentum. He started getting really frustrated so we stopped. When Jeff came upstairs 5 or 10 minutes later I decided to put him down for a couple more minutes and we were both watching as he successfully completed his first rollover from stomach to back. What a strong little man!
Last night we tried to bump up Cole's bedtime. For the past while he's been having his last feeding at 9:00pm and then going to bed following this. From what I've gathered from reading material you don't want to go more than 10 hours when breastfeeding so we put together his night sleep schedule based on this. However, in a lot of the SAME reading material it will say that a baby his age should get 11 hours of night-time sleep... go figure! Well, since I usually pump for the last feeding and Jeff gives him a bottle we figure we can do both. Plus this way it'll give us a bit of time to ourselves each night!... so exciting! He did well last night, took his bottle at 8pm and still made it through till 7am this morning. Hasn't been napping the best today though but we're not sure if it's the extra hour he had at night or that he's rolled over today(apparently any new milestones they reach can also throw sleep off a bit).
Today we're trying to catch up on things around here, as is usually the case... lots of laundry and cleaning. I'm trying to get zucchini loafs made as well. Always lots to do with a little one around now!
