the past couple weeks...

Just a few highlights of things we've done in the past couple weeks...

daycare picnic - a HOT day but nice to get out for a bit with both the boys, even though Cole talked about going on the pony all morning when it came time it was a no go... maybe next year!... his favourites - a balloon dog and cotton candy

a suprise visit from my Aunt Margaret and Uncle Fred who were in the area... Cole was napping but Nash was happily handed off for an hour or so!

Nash's 1st swim! - a neighbour who's home on mat leave with her 6 mth old, Keagan, invited us along to swim in her parents salt water pool... Nash loved it and it was the perfect way to spend yet another hot weekday afternoon

visiting friends - this past saturday we got to spend the day in London with Joey, Kimmy and their sons, Lukas and Liam... it was busy with all the boys but great to catch up once again!

A few other quick notes...

Nash has continuously slept through the past 6 nights (yay!) at the expense of barely napping at all during any of the days (not so yay). His least favourite thing is long car rides and most seems to love... kisses, the song "row, row your boat", little airplane rides and leg massages.

Cole is busy learning his alphabet and loves to sing songs all the time now, his favourites being "wheels on the bus" and "twinkle, twinkle". I love it that when Cole gets home from his school you can now ask him who he played with and what the played, whether they sang songs and what songs, etc... it's so great to know about his day from him personally, not just reading about it on his daily report.
